Quotex vs Olymp Trade — The YouTube Favorite vs The New Contender

If you have spent any time on YouTube searching for trading in Pakistan, you have definitely seen Olymp Trade ads. They have been around since 2014 and have seriously strong brand recognition in South Asia. But does brand name equal a better platform? I opened accounts on both and traded with real money to find out.

Quick Verdict

Quotex wins for actual trading performance — higher payouts, more assets, and the all-important JazzCash support. But Olymp Trade is genuinely better for complete beginners who need hand-holding. Their education section is one of the best I have seen in this space, and their customer support actually responds quickly. If you are completely new, consider learning on Olymp Trade\'s free courses and then trading on Quotex.

Payouts: Not Even Close

This is where the comparison gets embarrassing for Olymp Trade. Their maximum payout caps at 92%, and in practice, I was seeing 80-85% on most popular pairs. Quotex routinely offered me 88-92% on the same assets at the same times.

To put this in real numbers: if you are making $5 trades with an 85% payout on Olymp Trade, a winning trade nets you $4.25. That same trade on Quotex at 91% gets you $4.55. Over 200 winning trades in a month, that is an extra $60 in your pocket from Quotex. For someone trading with a small account, that difference matters.

Olymp Trade does have a "fixed time" trading mode alongside binary options which gives them some versatility. But if we are talking pure binary option payouts, Quotex is clearly ahead.

Payment Methods: The Pakistan Factor

Despite being around for over a decade and advertising heavily in South Asia, Olymp Trade still does not support JazzCash or Easypaisa. I find this baffling, honestly. They accept Visa, Mastercard, Skrill, Neteller, and crypto — but not the payment methods that most Pakistani traders actually use.

A cousin of mine in Islamabad was an Olymp Trade user for about a year. He deposited exclusively through a friend\'s international card, which was awkward and complicated. When I showed him how I deposit to Quotex with JazzCash in under 5 minutes, he switched within the week. Sometimes the most important feature is not the flashiest one — it is just being able to get money in and out without drama.

Education: Olymp Trade Is Outstanding Here

I have to hand it to them — Olymp Trade\'s educational content is some of the best in the binary options space. They have structured video courses, live webinars, detailed articles on strategies, market analysis, and even a knowledge base that covers everything from candlestick patterns to risk management psychology.

I went through their beginner course out of curiosity, and it is genuinely well-produced. The instructor explains concepts clearly with real chart examples. Even as someone who has traded for a while, I picked up a couple of nuances about divergence trading that I had not fully appreciated before.

Quotex\'s education section, on the other hand, is bare bones. A handful of short articles and that is it. They seem to take the approach that their demo account is the best teacher. There is some truth to that, but having structured learning alongside hands-on practice is clearly better. If you are just starting out, take advantage of Olymp Trade\'s free courses — the knowledge translates to any platform.

Customer Support: Olymp Trade Responds Faster

I contacted customer support on both platforms with similar questions to test response times. Olymp Trade\'s live chat connected me to a human within about 8 minutes, and the agent was knowledgeable and helpful. The second time I tried, it was about 12 minutes. Consistent.

Quotex\'s support is more of a lottery. Sometimes I got a reply within 15 minutes. Other times, my chat sat there for over an hour with no response. The quality of the answers was fine when someone eventually replied, but the waiting game gets old. If reliable customer support is important to you, Olymp Trade does it better.

Asset Selection: Quotex Has Double

Quotex offers over 410 tradeable assets compared to Olymp Trade\'s roughly 200. In practice, most of us trade the same 10-15 pairs anyway, so this sounds more impressive than it feels day to day. But it does matter during specific market conditions. When I could not find a good setup on major forex pairs one evening, I switched to some commodity and index options on Quotex that simply were not available on Olymp Trade. More assets means more opportunities, even if you do not trade all of them regularly.
